Tesla FSD Supervised a Amsterdam: brillant entre bicicletes, dubtes al camp
FSD Supervised resol ciclistes, obres i un carrer tallat a Amsterdam, però dubta en carreteres estretes i necessita una intervenció sobre l’accelerador.
Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) s’enfronta a Amsterdam, amb ciclistes, obres, carrers tallats i interseccions estretes, i després a carreteres rurals on gairebé no caben dos vehicles. La sorpresa del vídeo és que el centre urbà resulta més fàcil: els moments realment tensos arriben entre una bardissa, un autobús i conductors que han de negociar el pas sense senyals.
La prova, gravada el 18 d’abril de 2026 amb un Model 3 Performance, maquinari HW4 i FSD 14.2.2.5, recull deu reptes. Mostra decisions molt fluides i una sola intervenció declarada sobre l’accelerador, però no és un estudi de seguretat. És un trajecte seleccionat i editat, amb un creador entusiasmat i sense publicar telemetria completa.
1. FSD Supervised no és conducció autònoma
A 00:30, el narrador diu que el sistema «finalment és legal a Europa». La realitat reguladora és més precisa. L’autoritat neerlandesa RDW va aprovar FSD Supervised el 10 d’abril de 2026 amb validesa provisional als Països Baixos; l’extensió a tota la Unió Europea requeria encara una sol·licitud, vot dels estats i majoria al comitè corresponent.
RDW el classifica com un sistema avançat d’assistència. El conductor continua sent responsable, ha de mirar la carretera i ha de poder agafar el volant immediatament. Pot apartar les mans mentre la càmera comprova l’atenció, però no pot llegir, dormir ni desentendre’s del trànsit.
La mateixa pàgina de Tesla repeteix que les funcions no fan el vehicle autònom. El nom «Full Self-Driving» descriu l’abast comercial del paquet, no un cotxe sense conductor. Tampoc s’ha de traslladar directament l’experiència nord-americana: RDW adverteix que el programari i les funcions europees són diferents.
2. Assertivitat entre ciclistes i un gir en U prudent
El primer repte arriba a 00:54. Un ciclista queda a mig entrar en un pas i el Tesla redueix lleugerament la velocitat, confirma que no creuarà i continua sense una frenada brusca. El creador ho interpreta com una assertivitat adequada: cautela sense bloquejar innecessàriament la via.
Al gir en U de 01:24, el cotxe entra al centre de la intersecció, cedeix als vehicles contraris i completa la maniobra. Manté bé la posició, però acaba més lent del que els ocupants preferirien. És un exemple de la tensió bàsica d’un assistent: ser massa agressiu és perillós; ser massa prudent pot sorprendre els altres.
A Amsterdam, aquesta negociació es repeteix amb bicicletes elèctriques que s’acosten a velocitats molt diferents. A 03:55, FSD frena per un ciclista que sembla disposat a creuar i després continua quan aquest s’atura. La conducció és conservadora, però la densitat obliga el supervisor a mantenir una atenció constant.
3. Obres, semàfor groc i un carrer físicament tancat
A 02:14, les marques vials queden confuses sota un pont ple de barreres d’obra. La pantalla no representa tots els elements, però el vehicle manté una trajectòria i travessa el tram. Poc després passa un semàfor que acaba de canviar a groc.
El vídeo insisteix que la visualització no és una còpia del que utilitza la xarxa neuronal. Això és raonable: una interfície pot simplificar deteccions internes. Tanmateix, des de fora no es pot saber què ha identificat el model, amb quina confiança o quina regla ha decidit l’acció.
A 03:10, la navegació envia el cotxe cap a un carrer barrat per una desfilada de flors. FSD posa l’intermitent aviat i canvia de ruta amb suavitat. És un dels èxits més clars perquè respon a una barrera física que el mapa no coneixia sense arribar-hi i quedar encallat.
4. La cantonada cega i el perill d’atribuir intencions
El sisè moment, a 05:10, és una cruïlla amb visibilitat molt limitada. El Tesla s’atura i, instants després, apareix una furgoneta. Els ocupants tenen la sensació que el sistema l’ha detectada abans que ells.
El mateix narrador ofereix una alternativa: potser el cotxe va frenar per un ciclista que sortia del carrer. Sense registres interns, no es pot concloure que «veiés» la furgoneta amagada. També podia respondre a geometria, oclusió, velocitat o una política general de precaució.
La conducta final —aturar-se davant d’una cantonada cega— és bona independentment del motiu. El límit és narratiu: una decisió encertada no revela per si sola la representació interna del sistema.
5. Al camp, l’espai físic es converteix en el repte
Després d’un segment patrocinat, el creador passa del seient del passatger al volant. A 09:15, un autobús ocupa gairebé tota una carretera estreta i un arbre redueix l’espai lateral. FSD espera, accelera quan s’obre el pas i el supera sense intervenció declarada.
Des de 10:07, diversos vehicles apareixen seguits en una via residencial estreta. El Tesla cedeix, s’acosta al marge i deixa espai també a la trajectòria aliena. Els ocupants troben algunes passades més ràpides del que ells farien, encara que no arriben a prendre el control.
La velocitat general és l’altra crítica. El cotxe circula prou lent perquè el trànsit del darrere s’acumuli. Els creadors demanen perfils europeus més ràpids, però la lentitud pot ser part de l’equilibri aprovat per operar en vies amb oclusions, ciclistes i marges mínims.
6. La bardissa, la primera intervenció i la desfilada final
El moment més claustrofòbic comença a 13:02. Un pont estret, una bardissa i cotxes en sentit contrari deixen centímetres als retrovisors. FSD manté la línia, arriba a fregar lleument les fulles i negocia diverses trobades sense que el conductor mogui el volant.
La comunicació amb un altre vehicle falla a 14:56. Tots dos esperen i el Tesla no pren la iniciativa. Després de donar-li temps, el supervisor toca breument l’accelerador; és la primera intervenció que declara. No evita un xoc imminent, però desbloqueja una negociació humana que el sistema no resol.
L’últim repte arriba a 16:06. El que sembla un embús és la cua d’una desfilada. El vehicle interpreta una filera com a cotxes estacionats, avança quan s’obre espai i entra en una rotonda guiada per persones. A 18:36, respon gairebé immediatament al gest que li dona pas.
És una escena extraordinària, però el vídeo també parla d’avortar i els humans dirigeixen el trànsit. Per això no constitueix una execució autònoma neta ni reproduïble; mostra que l’assistent pot continuar dins d’un cas límit sota supervisió estreta.
Conclusions
FSD Supervised impressiona a Amsterdam perquè no només segueix carrils: negocia bicicletes, un gir en U, obres, oclusions i un carrer tancat amb una fluïdesa sovint humana. Les carreteres rurals revelen els límits més interessants: velocitat massa baixa, marges laterals mínims i una indecisió que requereix tocar l’accelerador.
RDW va explicar el juny de 2026 que havia dedicat més de 3.000 hores i mil proves al sistema, utilitzant 1,8 milions de quilòmetres europeus, i que continuava monitorant-lo mensualment. Aquest procés regulador aporta molta més evidència que un vídeo, encara que tampoc converteix cada trajecte futur en segur.
La conclusió correcta no és que el Tesla «condueixi sol», ni que hagi resolt Amsterdam sense ajuda. És un assistent de gran abast capaç de decisions sofisticades, però amb un humà responsable que ha d’interpretar, anticipar i intervenir. Justament perquè funciona tan bé durant minuts seguits, evitar la confiança excessiva és una part central de la seguretat.

Yeah. Wow. Amazing. The reaction time was like instant. Tesla's full-cell driving is finally legal in Europe. So we took it to Amsterdam, one of the hardest cities on Earth to drive. I mean, these streets were built before cars existed, but what I didn't expect was the countryside being much more of a challenge than the city itself. Today I'll show you both in the 10 most challenging moments we capture, starting from the impressive but doable and building all the way to the near impossible. First up, Tesla's self-driving solution is intelligent and as such can be properly assertive. Watch the cyclist on the right, halfway out into the crossing. This is where you would expect a cell driving car to awkwardly hesitate, if not slam on the brakes. But Tesla FSD barely slows down just to be safe and then glides through the intersection. As if it wasn't being blocked at all. This is doing this on its own? Yep. That's great. Yeah, that's great then. That was really good. Okay, the smoothness was impressive, but the moment itself just driving straight, right? So let's up the difficulty. So this is going to be our first you term today. Yep. If it executes. Yeah, and I think it's going to execute perfectly. Okay, we have a green, but there's also cars on the other side that we have to yield to, right? So we're going to have to stay in the middle for a little bit. It's so slow. I think it's going, I think it was fine, actually. Yep. Now it's been a little bit too slow at the end here, but it stayed in the middle perfect.

Yeah. Ah, smooth rerout. This one deserves an instant replay. Look at how early FSD put on the left turn signal. how early its mind was already made up, which made for an extremely smooth rerout, honestly it knew about the block's street before I did from the passenger seat. Back to the city center now, and the bike traffic is about to go crazy. Watch FSD reads, warms of cyclists from all directions, starting with this intersection. You're about to see one of the worst designed intersections ever We're about to turn left here, but there's a dangerously blind corner that's borderline impossible to see through. Despite that, FSD spider senses gig in and it patiently stops and waits for an invisible van, the driver literally wouldn't see until it was too late. There's like, okay, thank you for that. Now, sure, if you watch closely again, you can argue that FSD stopped not because of the van, but because of this cyclist exiting the street with the same name. exiting the street we're about to enter. But I think in that case, it would have continued creeping forward ever so slowly. In my opinion, what stopped it really was the invisible van, or even the possibility of appearing in the intersection. Can you spot it before it appears? Seems like FSD can, even though it's not visualizing it, but remember, the visualizations on the screen are not an indication of what the car really sees and what it doesn't. HD has proven many times that it reacts to certain objects before they appear on the screen, if they appear at all. And this van was another perfect example of that, in my opinion. The car flagged it and eased off before a single person in the cabin had a clue. Now in these first six moments, I was about a passenger, but starting with number 7, I'm about to sit behind the wheel for the first time. Sort of. Let me explain. I was so excited to finally get my hands on FSD in Europe, but getting here wasn't his trade line. I've chased the software across the world for over a year. Hacked cyber truck and Prague, unreleased builds Europe wasn't supposed to have, but my very first time.

Just wave, smile away voice. The fact that this car decided, hey, this is in the traffic jam, this is parked cars, let's just go there. Yeah, that was kind of amazing. That was amazing. And starting to move, the cars are starting to move. We accidentally stumbled upon a traditional flower parade, pouring across the road and around about to threaten in the middle of it. As you can see, we were lucky enough to catch the very tail end of this parade, and so a truly unique self-driving scenario just opened ahead of us. As one of the first cars to get through with many vulnerable roadviews are still swarming all around. There must have been hundreds of them, but the real final challenge was still ahead, because this is no ordinary roundabout. It's once again human guided. Well, it didn't really. Respectfully hand-fig novels. This is gold. This is just absolutely gold. And now, as you get away with the theories, we're gonna... Is it gonna go? Yeah. Wow. Amazing.
