Solarky sunV: el cotxe solar de 8.000 dòlars que promet 55 km al dia

El Solarky sunV combina 660 kg, bateria de 10,2 kWh i sostre solar extensible. Analitzem preu, autonomia, 55 km diaris promesos i limitacions.

El Solarky sunV és un microcotxe elèctric de quatre places amb una idea poc habitual: un sostre solar que duplica la superfície quan el vehicle està aparcat. Costa al voltant de 269.000 bahts a Tailàndia —uns 8.000 dòlars segons el canvi utilitzat al vídeo— i promet cobrir bona part dels desplaçaments urbans diaris sense endollar-se.

La proposta és més creïble que posar plaques sobre un SUV pesant perquè el sunV pesa només 660 kg i utilitza una bateria de 10,2 kWh. Això no converteix, però, els 55 km solars diaris en un resultat garantit: són una estimació ideal del fabricant, no una mesura independent mostrada durant la prova.

1. Un cotxe solar pensat per a un context concret

A 00:00, Everything Electric APAC presenta el sunV com “el cotxe solar més barat del món”. El reclam és atractiu, però no hi ha un cens mundial independent que permeti confirmar el superlatiu. Sí que és un dels elèctrics solars de producció més econòmics documentats.

Solarky és una empresa xinesa creada el 2023 i centrada en mercats del sud-est asiàtic i d’Àfrica. El model va arribar a Tailàndia el desembre de 2025 i també s’ha introduït a Tanzània i Indonèsia, en aquest últim cas sota la marca MAB. Això demostra comercialització real en alguns països; no equival a disponibilitat o homologació mundial.

El presentador explica a 00:55 per què el preu importa: cotxes xinesos considerats assequibles a Europa encara poden ser cars per a molts compradors d’aquests mercats. El sunV intenta ocupar l’espai entre una motocicleta i un turisme convencional.

2. El sostre que passa d’1,6 a 3,2 metres quadrats

La característica central apareix a 01:30. El panell sobre el sostre té una superfície inicial d’1,6 m² i s’estén elèctricament fins a 3,2 m² quan el cotxe està aparcat. Abans de circular, s’ha de recollir.

El vídeo parla d’un sistema de 300 W i després mostra la superfície duplicada. Aquí falta una dada tècnica inequívoca: no queda clar si els 300 W corresponen a la part fixa o al conjunt desplegat. Aquesta distinció és important per comprovar l’energia diària.

Amb una bateria de 10,2 kWh i 151 km NEDC, el quocient teòric és d’uns 6,8 kWh/100 km, abans de considerar reserves i pèrdues de càrrega. Afegir 50–55 km exigiria aproximadament entre 3,4 i 3,7 kWh útils. Una potència total propera a 600 W podria acostar-s’hi durant un dia excepcionalment assolellat; 300 W totals ho tindrien molt més difícil. Cal una fitxa completa i una prova amb comptador per resoldre-ho.

3. Quants quilòmetres pot donar realment el sol

A 02:41, el presentador descriu el vehicle com un cotxe que “pastura” energia: cinc o deu quilòmetres de trajecte, unes hores aparcat al sol i una nova recàrrega parcial. En aquest patró, la placa no ha d’omplir una bateria buida cada nit; només ha de reposar el consum diari.

La promesa és de fins a 55 km en condicions ideals i de 30–40 km en un dia lleugerament ennuvolat. Són xifres comunicades durant la presentació, no resultats d’una jornada instrumentada. Ombra d’edificis o arbres, núvols, temperatura de la placa, orientació, brutícia i consum de l’aire condicionat poden reduir-les.

El sunV conserva un port de càrrega AC i no té càrrega ràpida DC. Amb una bateria tan petita, la manca de DC és raonable per a ús urbà. També evita que un període de pluja converteixi el vehicle en inutilitzable: sempre es pot carregar des de la xarxa.

4. Bateria petita, poc pes i prestacions urbanes

A 03:31, s’enumeren les dades bàsiques: bateria LFP de 10,2 kWh, autonomia homologada de 151 km en cicle NEDC, motor posterior de 15 kW i velocitat màxima de 80 km/h.

L’NEDC és un cicle antic i optimista; els 151 km no s’han de confondre amb autonomia garantida en trànsit real. Climatització, velocitat, càrrega, pluja i desnivell canviaran el resultat. Amb 80 km/h de punta, el cotxe està pensat per ciutat i vies lentes, no per autopista.

El pes de 660 kg s’aconsegueix amb un xassís d’alumini i panells de carrosseria de material compost, segons explica el vídeo a 04:17. Moure menys massa redueix l’energia necessària i permet que una placa relativament petita tingui un efecte perceptible.

5. Què ofereix per 8.000 dòlars

L’interior, mostrat a 05:08, prioritza funcions pràctiques: aire condicionat amb comandaments físics, pantalla, Apple CarPlay, càmera posterior, radar d’aparcament, alçavidres elèctrics i fre de mà mecànic.

Hi caben quatre persones, encara que l’accés i l’espai posterior són justos. El maleter és d’uns 70–80 litres segons la font i arriba aproximadament als 800 litres amb els seients abatuts. Aquesta configuració permet usar-lo com a petit vehicle de repartiment de dues places.

El vídeo informa d’una garantia general de tres anys i de vuit anys per a la bateria a 07:40. No se’n mostren les condicions, el límit de quilometratge ni el percentatge mínim de capacitat; són detalls que cal confirmar amb el distribuïdor local.

6. Com es condueix pels carrers de Bangkok

La prova dinàmica no intenta disfressar-ne les limitacions. A 08:12, el presentador troba la suspensió seca i l’habitacle sorollós, amb plàstics econòmics. Alhora, considera suficients la direcció assistida, els frens i l’acceleració per incorporar-se al trànsit urbà.

La posició és vertical i la superfície envidrada dona bona visibilitat. L’aire condicionat és essencial en el clima tailandès, però consumeix una part apreciable de l’energia disponible. Això fa encara més important no confondre l’autonomia NEDC ni el guany solar ideal amb una garantia quotidiana.

7. Les preguntes que la demostració no respon

El vídeo no presenta una prova de càrrega amb dades inicials i finals, ni una mesura de capacitat útil, consum real o degradació. Tampoc aporta resultat de proves de xoc, equipament avançat de seguretat o certificació per a Europa.

Abans de comprar caldria comprovar:

  • homologació i categoria legal al país;
  • potència solar real amb el sostre desplegat;
  • protecció del mecanisme contra vent, pluja i cops;
  • disponibilitat de peces, servei i cobertura de garantia;
  • seguretat passiva i assegurança;
  • autonomia amb aire condicionat i càrrega completa.

El mateix presentador reconeix a 09:39 que no és una solució universal. Un panell extensible necessita espai i sol directe; en un aparcament cobert, sota arbres o en latituds amb hiverns foscos, el principal avantatge disminueix.

Conclusions

El Solarky sunV no elimina el carregador, però combina tres decisions coherents: poc pes, bateria petita i molta superfície fotovoltaica quan està estacionat. En trajectes curts, clima assolellat i aparcament exterior, l’energia acumulada durant el dia pot reduir molt les endollades.

Els 151 km NEDC, els 50–55 km solars i el títol de “més barat del món” continuen sent reclams que necessiten proves comparables. El mèrit real és més modest i potser més interessant: demostrar que un vehicle urbà no necessita una bateria enorme per ser útil. Si Solarky publica especificacions completes, proves de seguretat i dades de càrrega mesurades, el sunV podria convertir aquesta bona idea en una alternativa verificable.

But you're never really gonna be charging it for that duration. This is a grazing car. So you go to the shops, five miles, park it there two, three, four hours and you top up your battery. You park it back at home after another five miles of driving, you top it up again. In theory in the place like Bangkok for fairly regular use, you might never have to plug this car in and that is why it's this special.

    So on an ideal day you could add around 55 kilometers of range if you had perfect sunshine all day on a slightly overcast day like today, just a very hot. You can get around 30 to 40 kilometers of range with a bit of cloud cover. That's kind of fairly normal. So you can take it to the shops, potter around and never need to charge in, but it does have an AC charger if you do need to plug it in. No DC charger on this, it's just a slow AC charger, but it's only a 10 point to the kilowatt battery. Therefore it's very quick to charge anyway. It gives around the 150 kilometers of any DC range, which is a really good range from such a small battery. That's all because of the weight. Now talk about this in just a moment. It's also got a 15 kilowatt rear electric motor which gives it enough push to get around the Bangkok streets. We drove it here, no problems whatsoever. Accelerates into traffic very, very easily.     car is the weight and how have they done that? Well, how they've built this car is very different from every other electric car out there. First of all it's an aluminium chassis so the whole car is lightweight straight away. Secondly, every single body panel here is made from a polymer composite material. The wings, the bonnet, the trim, everything. So it really drops that weight down to 660 kilograms. So even with a solar panel on the roof, you can still get four adults in here and do 150 kilometers from a 10 kilowatt hour battery. These are unheard of figures and it's got air conditioning. I think a lot of other automakers should take a page out of Salarky's book and study it because we need to be focusing more on light-weighted ness and actual proper functionality and I think this car sits all of those boxes.     Well you actually get a fairly modern interior as you can see. I've even got a screen up here but the most important thing, especially in Thailand, is air conditioning which I've just turned off. So proper knobs down there to turn the air conditioning on and off, you're heating and calling but on here I've got car play. I have the retractable roof control which is there. We've got it extended at the moment but I can also contract it. I've got my range and my drive mode over there and I've got this door open and it can detect I'm in the seat but also in the rear it has cameras and radar basically so beeps when I'm reversing so it doesn't come with everything and it comes with kind of what you need and nothing more. Down here I've got fairly simple dial controls for my drive modes and I've got two electric windows and at the

    moment the car comes in one colour which is this mocker brown colour and an old school handbrake down there so yeah not the most advanced car in here but honestly more than enough and what most people actually need. Now for those you want to sit in the rear you do get some rear seats and this is a old school mechanical handle to pull them back and then you can get in and you can just about fit two adults in here another hot seats are quite hard but there is actually just about enough room and you can see out your window there over there there's enough headroom I've got lots of headroom and then you've got your obviously seat belts down there yeah basic on the back here there's a few other features as well these are customizable panels you can change the design of that that's just one of the demo colours just testing out the stickers.

    And then for your boot and your rear. So this is the rear end. Looks quite nice. So you've got a side opening tailgate like that. And in here you have 70 liters of boot space like this. But if you do this, that's a 4 800 liters of boot space, which is really respectable. And one of the uses for this car will be transportation of good. So it'll be a two-seater and then you can do like transport things in the back that you need to. So it's multifunctional and they're expecting it to have many different uses,

    And essentially, you never have to charge it if you live somewhere like Bangkok. I don't know what the acceleration is like in terms of timings. It doesn't really matter in something like this. But my seat is a little bit far back, so that's better, a bit more upright. But the good thing about this car is you are sitting quite upright with lots of glass around, you see, got pretty good view. I mean, there isn't much to talk about in terms of the driving ability of this car.
