Cybercab sense conductor i FSD a Europa: què mostren realment les proves

Unes imatges del Cybercab a Giga Texas mostren progrés, però no equivalen a una homologació. FSD Supervised només té validesa provisional als Països Baixos i continua sota control del conductor.

Un vídeo promocional no és una homologació

El canal Tesla Jigsaw comenta unes imatges atribuïdes a un Cybercab circulant sense conductor pel recinte de Giga Texas amb treballadors a bord. També parla de la reconversió d’una línia de Fremont per fabricar el robot Optimus i critica la lentitud europea per autoritzar FSD Supervised.

Les imatges poden mostrar progrés tècnic dins d’un entorn controlat, però no demostren que el vehicle estigui preparat per oferir un servei públic a gran escala. Una prova en propietat privada, una operació comercial de robotaxi i l’homologació d’un sistema a Europa són fites diferents, amb requisits de seguretat i responsabilitat també diferents.

Què es veu a Giga Texas

Segons el vídeo, el vehicle fa un recorregut autònom pel complex industrial amb empleats a l’interior i sense una persona al volant. El canal ho interpreta com un pas previ als viatges públics. La conclusió prudent és més limitada: Tesla disposa d’unitats capaces de completar almenys aquest recorregut mostrat.

Falten dades essencials per avaluar la prova:

  • quantes vegades es va repetir i quants intents no es van publicar;
  • en quines condicions meteorològiques i de trànsit es va fer;
  • si hi havia supervisió o teleoperació externa;
  • quina era l’àrea exacta de funcionament;
  • com respon el sistema davant d’avaries i situacions imprevistes.

Cap d’aquests interrogants invalida el vídeo, però impedeix convertir-lo en una prova general de seguretat. En conducció automatitzada, una seqüència reeixida és una dada; la validació exigeix una cobertura molt més àmplia d’escenaris.

FSD Supervised ja té un permís als Països Baixos

La situació europea que descriu el vídeo necessita una correcció important. L’autoritat neerlandesa RDW va concedir el 10 d’abril de 2026 una homologació europea amb validesa provisional només als Països Baixos per a FSD Supervised.

La mateixa RDW remarca tres punts:

  1. és un sistema d’assistència controlat pel conductor, no un vehicle autònom;
  2. la persona conductora continua sent responsable i ha de mantenir el control;
  3. per estendre l’autorització a tota la Unió Europea, la Comissió ha de tramitar la petició i els estats membres l’han d’aprovar per majoria al comitè corresponent.

Per tant, “Europa diu que no” és una simplificació. Hi ha un procediment d’homologació en curs i ja existeix una autorització nacional provisional. També és imprecís presentar Bèlgica, Dinamarca, Estònia o Lituània com si tinguessin la mateixa aprovació plena: el comunicat oficial de la RDW afirma que, en aquella data, la validesa era només neerlandesa.

Supervised i sense conductor no són el mateix producte

El vídeo barreja el Cybercab sense volant amb FSD Supervised per a cotxes conduïts per persones. Tots dos poden compartir tecnologia, però jurídicament i operacionalment són categories diferents.

FSD Supervised continua requerint vigilància humana. Un Cybercab que operi sense conductor necessita un sistema de conducció automatitzada capaç d’assumir tota la tasca dins del seu domini operacional, gestionar fallades i arribar a una situació de risc mínim sense ajuda immediata.

La UNECE va adoptar el juny de 2026 el primer marc regulador mundial per a sistemes de conducció plenament automatitzada. El text se centra en sistemes de gestió de seguretat, proves creïbles, validació del cas de seguretat i seguiment continu després de posar els vehicles en servei. La Unió Europea també ha actualitzat durant 2026 els procediments tècnics d’homologació per a vehicles plenament automatitzats.

Aquestes normes no són una prohibició de la tecnologia. Són el mecanisme per demostrar que funciona de manera segura més enllà d’un conjunt de vídeos o testimonis.

Els testimonis i les dades de fabricant

El canal llegeix el relat d’un conductor que afirma haver recorregut 240 quilòmetres sense intervenir i presenta FSD com una tecnologia que ja salva vides. L’experiència individual pot explicar comoditat i confiança, però no permet calcular una taxa d’accidents ni comparar riscos.

Per valorar seguretat cal conèixer l’exposició total, la definició d’intervenció, el tipus de vies, la gravetat dels incidents i una població comparable. Les estadístiques publicades pel fabricant són útils, però necessiten metodologia transparent i, idealment, verificació independent. Absència d’intervencions en un trajecte no és sinònim d’absència de risc.

Fremont i Optimus: objectius industrials, no resultats consolidats

Una altra part del vídeo mostra la retirada de l’antiga línia dels Model S i X a Fremont, que el canal situa en 46 dies, per preparar espai per a Optimus. Tesla tindria l’objectiu de començar una producció limitada de la tercera generació del robot entre finals de juliol i agost de 2026.

La capacitat futura d’un milió de robots anuals que es menciona és un objectiu de disseny a llarg termini, no la producció actual. Una línia nova, milers de peces i una cadena de subministrament immadura fan que el ritme inicial previsiblement sigui baix. Convé separar l’ambició anunciada de les unitats realment fabricades i desplegades.

Conclusions principals

Les imatges del Cybercab són un senyal de desenvolupament, però no proven una autonomia general ni una operació pública imminent. El mateix passa amb Optimus: la transformació de la fàbrica és una inversió tangible; les xifres de capacitat encara són objectius.

A Europa, FSD Supervised no ha rebut un “no” general. Té una aprovació provisional als Països Baixos i espera el procés per ampliar-la. A més, continua sent assistència sota responsabilitat del conductor. El Cybercab sense conductor haurà de superar un nivell regulador diferent, basat en un cas de seguretat, proves i supervisió continuada. La prudència reguladora pot frustrar els usuaris, però no es pot equiparar automàticament a un risc més gran sense dades comparables.

Instead of letting proven safety technology onto our roads, regulators are deliberately maintaining a high-risk environment. Every day of delay means more avoidable incidents caused by human drivers. On the positive side, there's a supervised FSD shuttle pilot running in the Eiffel region, transporting students and seniors.
