Les XREAL xbx a01+ són unes ulleres-pantalla de 299 dòlars pensades per connectar-se per USB-C a un mòbil, un ordinador o una consola portàtil. No fan realitat augmentada espacial com les AURA o un visor: projecten una pantalla privada de 1.080p per ull que, de sèrie, segueix el moviment del cap.

Què inclou realment el model «plus»

Són dades del fabricant, no mesures independents. En especial, brillantor, color i mida equivalent de 147 polzades depenen del mètode de mesura, l’ajust i la distància virtual.
Una pantalla gran, no unes ulleres autònomes
Al minut 2:11, Sullivan explica el cas d’ús: connectar un dispositiu i veure una pantalla que ningú més pot mirar. És adequat per a pel·lícules, jocs o un escriptori portàtil.
El cable no transporta només vídeo; també alimenta les ulleres. Dir que tenen «bateria infinita» és imprecís: no cal carregar-les per separat, però consumeixen la bateria del mòbil, portàtil o consola.
La compatibilitat tampoc depèn només de tenir USB-C. El dispositiu ha de lliurar vídeo DisplayPort Alt Mode. Alguns telèfons necessiten un adaptador o un accessori com Beam Pro; una consola amb HDMI requereix la conversió corresponent. Cal verificar el model concret abans de comprar.

Un camp de visió quatre graus més ample pot fer que la imatge ocupi perceptiblement més espai. No garanteix més nitidesa: amb la mateixa resolució, els píxels es reparteixen en una àrea angular més gran.
Comoditat: el punt més convincent
Al minut 4:56, el creador es posa els dos models sense vídeo. Nota més pes sobre orelles i nas amb les RayNeo i considera les XREAL les ulleres AR més còmodes que ha provat.
Catorze grams són una diferència mesurable, però l’ajust és personal. El pes total no explica la pressió als suports, la inclinació, la distància entre pupil·les ni la forma de la cara. XREAL inclou tres ponts nasals i permet inclinar les varetes, però no hi ha ajust diòptric integrat; qui necessita correcció pot encarregar lents graduades.
Una prova de compra responsable hauria de durar més de quinze minuts i incloure text, moviment, calor i punts de pressió. La política de devolució del venedor importa gairebé tant com les especificacions.
Brillantor exterior i reflexos
Al minut 9:25, Sullivan prova les ulleres a l’exterior. La imatge continua visible i el frontal es pot retirar per veure millor l’entorn, però les superfícies internes reflecteixen llum.
L’escut opac millora contrast per a cinema i joc, a costa de perdre consciència de l’entorn. Sense escut, el fons competeix amb la pantalla. Els 1.600 nits anunciats ajuden, però no converteixen l’òptica en un monitor perfecte sota sol directe.

Estabilització i límit de 3DoF
El vídeo parla d’«anti-shake» per programari i d’un mode 3D. Cal separar tres conceptes:
- la IMU pot suavitzar petits moviments;
- el mode 3D rep dues imatges i crea profunditat estereoscòpica;
- el 3DoF fixa virtualment la pantalla en una orientació espacial.
Les a01+ no ofereixen 3DoF natiu. Sense accessori, la pantalla gira amb la cara. XREAL reserva el seguiment espacial integrat per a models més cars com les 1S i One Pro; el Beam Pro pot afegir funcions, però incrementa preu, volum i bateria.
Per editar o llegir durant hores, una pantalla fixa acostuma a ser més còmoda que una que segueix cada moviment.
Àudio i «mode de cura ocular»
Al minut 7:38, el creador troba l’àudio XREAL una mica més clar i el RayNeo més greu. És una preferència, no una mesura. En un espai compartit, la fuita de so i el soroll exterior poden fer preferibles uns auriculars.
El botó permet canviar perfils i activar un to més càlid, similar al mode nocturn. Les certificacions de baixa llum blava i parpelleig són útils, però no impedeixen cansament per mala graduació, text petit, sequedat ocular o sessions llargues. Cal fer pauses i ajustar la brillantor a l’entorn.
Per a qui tenen sentit
Les xbx a01+ encaixen bé si es busca:
- una pantalla privada lleugera per viatjar;
- jugar amb una consola portàtil compatible;
- veure vídeo al llit o en un avió;
- una segona pantalla ocasional;
- el màxim camp de visió possible al voltant de 300 dòlars.
No són la millor compra si es volen aplicacions autònomes, seguiment de mans, finestres ancorades sense accessoris, càmera o substitució completa d’un monitor de text.
En resum
Les dades oficials sostenen els tres avantatges centrals del vídeo: 62 grams, 50 graus i 1.600 nits anunciats per 299 dòlars. Davant les RayNeo Air 4 Pro, XREAL és més lleugera i àmplia sobre el paper, mentre totes dues mantenen 1.080p i 120 Hz.

ft. Picking up the glasses, I noticed how insanely light they are, 62 g. These are actually the world's lightest AR glasses ever and they're even lighter than the Oakley Meta Vanguards, which don't even have a screen. It's crazy light and you can tell just by holding it in your hand. Peeling off the fitting instructions for the glasses, we see these gorgeous blue lenses. One of just many different colors of detachable, customizable lenses you can put on your XREAL glasses. You also find one standard button and one plus minus button on the arm and spatial speakers present in both arms, which all together have four different sound modes. When you peel off these inner stickers, you see the dual layer micro OLED panels, which deliver 1080p per eye and it's capable of 3D video at all the way up to 1600 nits, which also makes this the brightest of any AR glasses at this price point. And you're getting the classic 120 hertz refresh rate. From here you can adjust each arm individually up and down. You can see the removable nose pads in the middle, and you can also put the included uniquely shaped blackout sunshades on here that block out light from all sides including the bottom for full immersion. So that's three different looks with just the stock version of these glasses. And you're also getting software driven spatial anti-shake which stabilizes the screen in front of you so that you don't get things like motion sickness. field of view. No one else can see them and it's connected directly via a wire to cast from any device that you may want in a super high definition private and really comfortable way. One that you can take everywhere with you. So it's basically a portable enormous movie theater just for you. And yeah, you can also connect it to your laptop and get a bunch of work done, too. And because it's done with a direct wire connection, all of its battery is being fed to it from the device you connect it to. So it basically has infinite battery life. But real quick, let's look at the competition, the Rayneo Air Four Pro. These AR glasses come in at the same $299 price point. They have a 46 degree field of view which isn't quite as big as the 50 degrees in the XPX. It has a matching 120 hertz refresh rate. It has HDR 10 capability, a 1080p resolution as well, and it can do 3D also. So all those specs were the same, but it does weigh 76 grams which is much heavier, 14 grams heavier to be exact. heavier weight, the noticeably smaller field of view, and the lack of hot swappable custom front frames, they seem almost identical. But let's see how this actually stacks up with some real life tests. All right, so here is the video feed with the Rayneo Air Four Pros. Notice how dark the background is. This is pumped to max brightness and here is that same footage but through the xbx glasses. There's one thing I notice already and that is that through the phone it's harder to see the actual full picture of the video playing. It's getting more of the edges cut off with the xbx versus the raineo air 4 Pro and the reason is because the field of view is 4 degrees smaller on the air 4 Pro. So when you shine a phone through it with the camera you can see more of the whole frame. Whereas if you put your eyes into it it shows a nice big picture but with the xbx if you did the same thing holding a phone up to the glasses you're not going to be able to see as much. Whereas if you wear them the picture and video is going to look noticeably bigger in your field of view with these. So that's just one thing to know right away. Okay, so now I'm going to try each of the glasses. I'm going to try the 3D see if there's a noticeable difference in brightness, clarity, quality. So first let me try both of these on without even turning on my phone feed yet. So one thing I will say right away is I can see my entire body mirrored down below. This is the air 4 Pro the raineos and I can't really see that much of what's in front of me. It's pretty dark by default since neither of these is going to have electrochromic dimming. are actually a little bit lighter. Like I can see what's in front of me noticeably more than I can with the raineos. So that's one thing the raineos are a little bit darker of shades by default. You can get blackout lenses for both of these which come in the pack. So if you want things to be pitch black you can do that with both but these are a little bit more clear the xreal. Second thing I notice again before having any video feed is these raineos definitely you can feel the weight of them more on your ears specifically and on the front of your face and on your nose. Whereas with these xbx oh my gosh this is the most comfortable AR glasses experience I've ever had because they're the lightest by a lot. 62 grams. The The meta vanguard's are 66 grams and those are just AI glasses with no display and some speakers and a camera. That's it. And they're heavier than these. That's insane. For reference, normal Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1s are about 49 g. So, these are about 13 g more. The difference between these and the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1s is 1 g less than the difference between these and the Rayneo

Air 2 Pros, their direct competitor at the same price point. So, these are closer in weight to the Ray-Ban Metas. They're just so comfortable to wear. Oh my goodness. This is crazy. So, just straight away, that's two things I already like about these more. I can see more clearly through the actual glasses into my surroundings, so it's a little bit safer to walk around with. And they're so light. Oh my goodness, they're so light. Now, let's try the actual video feed. It still looks like an enormous movie screen. Even with a 46° field of view, it's still huge. Yeah, overall a good experience. See how the audio sounds maybe. Yeah, that's pretty good. Pretty good video quality. They're still AR glasses, even the most budget second newest ones like these Rayneo Air 2 Pros, it's still really good. Now, let's try the Xreals. See if I notice anything cuz the quality was really sharp in those. It's 1080p per eye. So, it's it's pretty good. They're so light. Can't get over it. Wow. Okay, the screen is actually extremely noticeably bigger. This is way better. It's the same price. Wow, 50° field of view. Normally, for context, you have to pay at least $450 to get 50° field of view. You're getting it now for $299. It's crazy. Yeah, I can see more clearly in the background, which I like. It looks more crisp cuz it's 1080p per eye, but it's 4° wider field of view, 50 instead of 46, which makes a huge difference. And they're more comfortable. The colors and details are really sharp. I think the sound is louder. Okay, no. They actually seem about the same volume. It sounds more almost muffled on the Air 2 Pros, the Rayneos. Not in necessarily in a bad way. It's just it's basier, which is good. It's good to have bass, but there's not and it seems like there's not enough mid or high-end frequencies

in the Air 2 Pros. I I know which of those is better. They're both about the same loud volume and they both have like a whisper mode and multiple different sound settings, which I like. These have more bass, but it also sounds a little muddy, like a little muffled. This has less bass, which is worse, but it's a little bit more clear, less muffled, which is better. So, I would say the audio is about the same. They're it's just different. But, if you like bass more, probably the Rayneos. They're both good. good. good. And in any case, you can just wear Bluetooth over your headphones. It's really good on both. Apparently, the Xreal have an eye care mode. That's really nice. So, if you tap the front button, you will switch to cinema and then you can switch to eye care, which is basically like night mode on your phone. It makes everything a warm hue. That's really nice, honestly, especially if you plan to wear them a long time or you wear them watching a nice movie at night on your ceiling, which honestly, by the way, with AR glasses it is a top-tier experience. Also, if you press and hold the button, you enter 3D mode. Okay, so is the 3D as good as it is with the Xreal 1S that have 3D left? No, I would say it isn't. It's pretty more on par with the 3D mode on the other AR

glasses besides Xreal. It's still good. I really like it on the Xreal 1S and the Xreal ones. So, I don't know if 3D is something I would use a ton with these, but it's still a feature that's there and it's still a cool thing to have for sure. Okay, so now that we have sort of the beginner first impressions between the different video and audio, I would say I prefer these a little bit more for the reasons that I just listed in that section. Now, there is one more thing I want to try with the XBs Xes before I get into the field test of them in a bunch of different scenarios and it's just actually going to be taking off these detachable/customizable these detachable/customizable these detachable/customizable front frames here, just like that, and wearing them like this while doing the 50° field of view video. I really want to see what this looks like. Because by doing this, you're making the glasses even lighter. I mean, the clip-ons don't weigh very much at all and you'll definitely look more casual with these, but this is just like so sci-fi. I really want to try them like this because I've never been able to try AR glasses this minimalistic before. This is really cool. Let's try it. Wow. Oh, so it's even clearer now because you don't even have any shades on the front at all. So, the background is even clearer. With these on, right? It's darker, but it's still more clear than the Ray-Ban Meta Pro with these off. It's even more clear than with any lenses on it cuz there's no lenses. It's just the birdbath micro-OLED optics here. Wow, this is crazy. Now, I can obviously see more under the bottom here, but the field of view is still the same. It's still an enormous screen. Oh my goodness, this is kind of really nice. I feel so free. Feels so light. I probably look ridiculous though. Okay, now let's talk about the actual field tests I did. Okay, so I went and did those outdoor tests and the results were

shocking. First off, the screen was even more huge when you're outdoors in the open environment. This makes a huge difference and if you can pay the same price, $299, and get a way bigger screen and field of view, I think that alone kind of makes the XPX really worth it. Secondly, I can't stop talking about how light these are. It feels so much closer to a pair of normal glasses than any other AR glasses I've tested ever. Third, the 3D effect isn't really something I can show on screen, but it is something that's still pretty cool. It's not as good as the XREAL 1S or XREAL 1 Pro, but still pretty cool. And being able to play your favorite game or watch your favorite show with that mode is a really cool feature. And fourth, wow, it's so nice to have a gigantic mammoth of a screen when editing videos, especially when I'm not in my home studio with my 49-in, but overall, I loved the experience of these glasses in the outdoors with a lot of bright lighting. The mirrors can be a little reflective, but that's a problem with both of these and because you can turn the brightness up higher on these, that can negate that quite a bit. 1600 nits

versus 1200 means you can make the screen brighter and it's more visible outside and it will eliminate more of those reflections that you might be seeing on the mirror. So, to sum up, I love these glasses and for the price point, they seem like a steal. They really do. Even if we're only looking at the field of view alone at that 50°. You just can't find anything else with that at this price range at all, unless you spend hundreds of more dollars, which is getting to the point where you're nearly doubling what you're spending on these. Not to mention the customization, the fact that they're the world's lightest AR glasses ever, and the fact that they have good 3D and can be made to look the coolest to fit your unique style and lens color preference. Now, because these are both around $300 AR glasses, you're not getting built-in 3DOF with either of them. The screen is just going to follow your face. But if you connect the XREAL Air 2 Pro is your one plus to a Beam Pro sold separately, then they get the 3DOF enabled.
