Mark Linsangan prova a Computex el nou ASUS ProArt P14 amb Nvidia RTX Spark i explica per què la combinació de potència gràfica, memòria unificada i mobilitat el convenç.

Mark Linsangan visita l’espai d’ASUS a Computex 2026 i surt especialment convençut del ProArt P14 amb Nvidia RTX Spark. El creador el veu com un possible pròxim portàtil perquè promet reunir en un equip de 14 polzades tres qualitats que sovint obliguen a escollir: potència gràfica per crear, capacitat per jugar i autonomia pròpia d’una plataforma ARM.

És una primera presa de contacte en una fira, no una anàlisi amb benchmarks independents. Les demostracions estan preparades pel fabricant i encara no permeten mesurar bateria, soroll o rendiment sostingut. El vídeo explica per què el producte entusiasma; la fitxa definitiva i les proves comercials són les que hauran de confirmar la promesa.

Un ProArt compacte centrat en creadors

El ProArt P14 H7407 utilitza un xassís de 14 polzades disponible en negre i blanc. ASUS publica un pes de 1,48 kg, un gruix d’entre 13,9 i 15,9 mm i una bateria de 90 Wh. Aquestes xifres el situen en una categoria molt més mòbil que una estació de treball tradicional.

La pantalla Lumina Pro OLED ofereix resolució 3K de 2.880 × 1.800 píxels, format 16:10 i refresc de 120 Hz. La configuració superior arriba a 1.600 nits de pic HDR, cobreix el 100% de DCI-P3 i admet tacte i llapis. Per a fotografia i vídeo, precisió de color, tractament antireflectant i brillantor són tan importants com la resolució.

Mark també mostra el ProArt P16, l’alternativa més gran, però prefereix la combinació de mida i portabilitat del P14. La decisió entre tots dos dependrà de si es prioritza espai de pantalla o un equip fàcil de transportar cada dia.

Què incorpora Nvidia RTX Spark

RTX Spark integra una CPU Nvidia Grace de 20 nuclis i una GPU Blackwell amb 6.144 nuclis CUDA en un sol sistema. CPU i GPU comparteixen fins a 128 GB de memòria LPDDR5X a través de la interconnexió NVLink-C2C.

La memòria unificada és especialment atractiva per a creadors. Una GPU discreta de portàtil acostuma a tenir una quantitat fixa de VRAM; si una escena 3D o un model local la supera, el flux de treball queda limitat. Amb un únic banc, el sistema pot assignar una part molt més gran a la càrrega gràfica.

ASUS anuncia configuracions de 24, 32, 48, 64 i 128 GB. No totes oferiran el mateix marge i encara cal conèixer preus per saber quina té més sentit. La versió de 128 GB és la que il·lustra millor el potencial, però previsiblement també serà la més cara.

Edició, 3D i IA local

El fabricant afirma que la plataforma pot editar vídeo 12K 4:2:2, renderitzar escenes 3D de més de 90 GB, generar vídeo 4K amb IA i executar models de 120.000 milions de paràmetres amb un context de fins a un milió de tokens. Són casos de demostració i no equivalen a garantir la mateixa velocitat en qualsevol programa.

La part diferencial és l’ecosistema Nvidia. CUDA, OptiX, TensorRT i els nuclis especialitzats ja tenen suport en moltes eines creatives. ASUS cita Adobe, Blender, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut i ComfyUI entre més d’un miler d’aplicacions i jocs accelerats.

Per a Mark, el valor no és utilitzar “IA” com una etiqueta, sinó fer tasques locals: processar vídeo, generar recursos, treballar amb escenes grans i mantenir dades al dispositiu. Un model local pot reduir latència i dependència d’una subscripció, tot i que la qualitat continuarà depenent del programari.

També vol ser un portàtil per jugar

RTX Spark conserva les tecnologies gràfiques de Nvidia, incloses DLSS, Reflex, G-Sync i traçat de raigs. ASUS promociona jocs AAA a 1440p per sobre dels 100 fotogrames per segon en escenaris compatibles.

Aquesta xifra necessita context: pot incloure escalat i generació de fotogrames, i varia segons el joc, la potència configurada i la refrigeració. Un xassís prim no manté necessàriament el mateix rendiment que un portàtil gaming més gruixut.

També cal vigilar la compatibilitat de Windows sobre ARM. Moltes aplicacions x86 es poden executar mitjançant emulació, però els controladors i sistemes anti-trampa necessiten suport específic. Que una demo funcioni no garanteix tota una biblioteca.

Ports i detalls pràctics

El P14 evita obligar el creador a viure només amb adaptadors. La fitxa inclou tres USB4 Type-C, un USB-A de 10 Gbps, HDMI 2.1, lector SD 4.0 i connector d’àudio. També ofereix Wi-Fi 7, un touchpad hàptic i una càmera amb infrarojos per a Windows Hello.

L’SSD és M.2 PCIe 4.0 i existeix una única ranura, limitada a unitats d’una sola cara per la disposició interna. ASUS publica opcions de 512 GB i 1 TB. Per a vídeo, és una capacitat modesta i probablement farà convenient utilitzar emmagatzematge extern o substituir la unitat.

El carregador USB-C arriba als 140 W. La bateria gran i l’eficiència ARM alimenten la promesa de “tot el dia”, però ASUS no publica en aquesta presentació una durada que permeti comparar usos creatius reals.

Per què Mark es planteja canviar

Linsangan veu el P14 com un equilibri millor que els portàtils que ha d’escollir habitualment. Un equip potent per editar i jugar sol ser gruixut, calent i poc autònom; un ultraportàtil eficient pot quedar curt en gràfics o memòria.

RTX Spark intenta trencar aquest compromís amb una plataforma integrada. El xassís ProArt hi afegeix una pantalla pensada per a color, ports útils i una estètica discreta. És aquesta suma, més que una sola demo, la que porta el creador a dir que podria convertir-se en el seu pròxim ordinador.

Què falta saber abans de comprar

La disponibilitat s’ha anunciat per a la tardor del 2026 en mercats seleccionats. Encara cal comparar preus, autonomia real, temperatura, soroll, rendiment connectat i desconnectat, i compatibilitat amb cada eina professional.

També serà important veure com rendeixen les configuracions de memòria més assequibles. Un P14 de 24 GB i un de 128 GB comparteixen nom, però poden dirigir-se a usos molt diferents.

La primera impressió de Mark és convincent perquè el ProArt P14 respon a una necessitat concreta: un sol portàtil per crear, jugar i viatjar. La decisió de canviar, però, només quedarà justificada si les proves independents confirmen que l’eficiència, els controladors i el preu estan a l’altura del maquinari.

    Alright guys, so I'm here at Comitex 2026 with ASUS and we're gonna be checking out a few of the new products that they've got here on the show floor. Before we check out what's new here, let's talk about the biggest announcement at this year's Comitex and it's all about Nvidia and its new RTX Spark chip set. And so this new chip set from Nvidia is gonna be in the all new Pearl Arc P14 and Pearl Arc P16. It's a super chip that combines a 20 core ARM CPU with a GPU that says powerful as the RTX 5070 mobile plus it has up to 128 gigs of unified memory that can be shared between the GPU and the CPU to share a single massive memory pool for AI processing, 3D rendering and of course gaming. So this means that this thing is gonna be super efficient. It's gonna be super fast and the laptop with these chips are gonna be much thinner than your usual gaming laptop. Now as a gamer myself, gaming on a laptop this thing is gonna be amazing. Apparently the new RTX Spark chip set is gonna be able to output similar power as an RTX 5070 mobile GPU. So that means 1080p high settings at high frame rates or 1440p high frame rate would retracing and frame gen and DLSS enabled.

    Now the new Pro R P14 and P16 looks incredible. It's been redesigned to be much slimmer but without compromising on port selection, display technology. Now the P14 is going to have a massive 90 watt hour battery and just look at how thin these batteries are. In the bigger P16 it's going to have a 99.99 watt hour battery. So I'm genuinely excited to get my hands on this to see how it performs on a daily basis and how it performances on.

Now there's still a lot of things that I don't know, like how much it'll cost when it'll be available, how many skews there'll be, but when I do find out I'll be sure to post it on threads or pin a comment down below that like button. And so now let's check out the ASUS booth starting off with a new Zenbook 14. So this year at Computex, ASUS, was showcasing a lot of the products that we've seen earlier this year at CES. But here at Computex, they just announced their new ZenBook 14 and it's actually really nice. So this is the all-new ZenBook 14 with the latest AMD Kraken Point processor. This is going to give you a good balance between power and efficiency. It gets up to 35 watts TDP, which should give this laptop enough power for daily tasks and creative work, like video editing, or photo editing.

    Now, the thing about this laptop is that it's one of the lightest laptops for me, Sue's, but it's been elevated just a little bit. Featuring a Sarah Luminum Top lid and aluminum chassis, this thing feels super premium to the touch. It also features a 14 inch, a Sue's OLED display with up to 3K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display on the slap top is just really beautiful. It gets plenty bright and is very visible under all these show floor lights. And the colors on this are so vivid and very color accurate, perfect for creators or someone who just wants to binge watch their favorite shows on here. The special thing here with the ZenBook 14 though is that you've got three of the biggest chip manufacturers putting their chipset on this laptop. We've got a model with an AMD chip like I mentioned earlier and this is going to get you that nice boost in AI workloads with good battery life. We've also got a model with a snapdragon X chip which is going to give you good performance.

    with the best battery life, which means this chip is gonna be the most efficient out of the three. And of course, we can't forget about Intel. We have an Intel Core Ultronine Series 3 chipset on here as well, which is gonna give you that super-fast experience without the laptop breaking a sweat. Now, all three actually look very identical from the outside and the Zenbook 14 now also comes in three color flavors, which is this iconic Zabrisky beige color we've seen from the Zenbook A14. And then there's the Komodo Coral, which is kind of like pink rose goldie and my favorite is the Arctic blue color. And as far as I'm aware, whether you pick up the AMD, Intel or Qualcomm version, all three colors should be available for this laptop, but that might come down to availability on your region.

    Besides that, it's got all the necessary ports that you need from HDMI 2.1 to USB ports, and of course you've got two USB-C ports on here and a headphone jack as well. Overall, I think this is a really nice upgrade to see from these suits. I like that they're giving us a more premium Zenbook laptop without breaking the bank. And speaking of price, this will again vary depending on your region and what model you end up picking up. But I believe this laptop starts somewhere around $850, which is not that at all. Now with the Vivo Bookline, Aceus just announced these two the Vivo Book S16 and S14. It's got an all-metal chassis which feels really premium. It's got tons of I-O, just like the new Zenbook. And you can get either an IPS panel or an OLED panel on here, which is really nice to see on a Vivo Book.

    Now with special about these new VivoBook S16 and S14, like I mentioned earlier, is the All-Metal chassis. It feels really premium to the touch without breaking the bank, both the 16 inch and 14 inch are fairly light as well, but giving you all the stuff that you'd want from a budget-friendly laptop. Now the one that I've been showing off in the video is the Snapdragon X version, which weighs about 1.3 kilos for the 14 inch version and about 1.6 kilos for the 16 inch version. Now the S16 and S14 also comes with another chip set inside and it's slightly lighter than the Snapdragon X version and this is the Intel Wildcat Lake chip inside here. So this is the Intel Core Ultra 7 series 3 chip which is going to give you pretty much better performance than the Snapdragon X variant but this is also going to be slightly thicker but oddly enough lighter than the Snapdragon variant. I don't know how that works.

    Now the display on here is gonna be an IPS panel, no option for OLED unfortunately, but at least it's up to 144 Hz, which is really nice. I also got to see the new ASUS Pad which has a 12.2 inch display, a media tech that meant it had an 8300 processor, and a massive 9000mAh battery. I'm not sure if this specific ASUS Pad will launch in the US, but still a nice upgrade to see here at Computex. And then we get to ROG. Now before the show floor opened up ROG celebrated its 20th anniversary and I got to see a bunch of the 20th anniversary edition products before they hit the show floor and man it was epic. While they made a ton of announcements and showcase a ton of products for their 20th anniversary, one product in particular stood out for me here. And as someone who loves gaming and traveling, handheld gaming has been my favorite pastime.

    The new Xbox ally X20 is literally the handheld I've been waiting for these two to make since the OG ally came out. This new ROG ally X20 looks so good. It's everything that you love about the Xbox ally X, but elevated and is a proper upgrade in my opinion. First things first, it's now a 7.4-inch screen, but it's now OLED with VRR and freezing premium. So games are gonna look a lot smoother and look incredible because of that OLED panel. The next thing I think that's worth noting here is the ergonomics.

    The grips are gripper with a more rubberized texture. The case is now this black transparent shell with gold accents. I think it looks really sharp. Oh, and also they swapped out the older micro SD card slot for a micro SD Express card, which means that you can get away with faster reading right speeds up to 900 megabytes of seconds, which is just gonna be awesome for high end emulation. Oh, and also did you guys notice the glowing green Xbox logo button? But yeah, that's pretty much it for my time here at Computex 2026.
