Antigravity A1: el dron 360 que separa el vol de l’enquadrament

L’Antigravity A1 grava tot l’entorn en 8K 360, amaga el dron i permet reenquadrar després. Analitzem la demostració patrocinada, les ulleres FPV i els límits.

L’Antigravity A1 parteix d’una idea poc habitual: en comptes de fer que el pilot apunti una càmera mentre controla el dron, grava tot l’entorn en 360 graus i permet decidir l’enquadrament després. Marques Brownlee presenta aquesta separació com el motiu pel qual l’A1 és una eina de rodatge i una experiència divertida.

Cal llegir el vídeo amb el context correcte. Antigravity el patrocina i el creador ho anuncia des del primer segon; al final també remarca que no és una ressenya convencional. Per tant, és una demostració útil de funcions i d’ús, però no una prova independent de durabilitat, autonomia o qualitat d’imatge.

1. Un dron que grava en totes direccions

A 00:56, Brownlee mostra les dues lents situades a la part superior i inferior del cos. Juntes capturen una esfera completa, com una càmera 360 que pot volar. El programari uneix les dues imatges i amaga gairebé sempre el mateix dron, incloses les hèlixs, dins la zona de costura.

Això canvia la feina del pilot. Amb un dron tradicional cal coordinar la trajectòria, l’altura i l’orientació del gimbal per no perdre el subjecte. Amb l’A1 es pot prioritzar el moviment i, durant l’edició, triar si el pla mira endavant, enrere, cap avall o cap al mateix pilot. També és possible exportar diversos plans convencionals d’un sol vol.

El benefici és clar en una passada difícil de repetir. Si un cotxe surt de l’enquadrament o l’acció succeeix darrere, la informació visual encara pot ser dins la gravació esfèrica. No qualsevol angle serà perfecte: la distància, la llum i la unió entre lents continuen condicionant el resultat.

2. El dron desapareix i el programari crea el moviment

Des de 02:03, la demostració combina aquesta captura amb automatismes. Sky Genie pot generar moviments com una òrbita, mentre que Deep Track segueix un subjecte, per exemple un vehicle. El resultat pot semblar filmat per una càmera flotant perquè el programari elimina l’aparell.

La càmera arriba a 8K en 360 graus a 30 fotogrames per segon. Segons les especificacions oficials d’Antigravity, utilitza un sensor d’1/1,28 polzades i també ofereix 5,2K fins a 60 fps i 4K fins a 100 fps. L’alta resolució és important perquè, en reenquadrar, només s’exporta una fracció de tota l’esfera; el pla final no conserva vuit mil píxels d’amplada.

L’A1 incorpora 20 GB interns i accepta microSD de fins a 1 TB. Té sensors frontals i inferiors, retorn al punt d’origen, assistència de navegació i tren d’aterratge automàtic. Són ajudes valuoses, però no substitueixen la planificació ni fan l’aparell infal·lible davant de cables o branques fines.

3. Els 249 grams tenen lletra petita

Brownlee destaca a 03:04 que el dron pesa 249 grams amb la bateria estàndard. Aquesta xifra facilita l’encaix en algunes categories reguladores, però no és un permís universal per volar a qualsevol lloc. La bateria de més capacitat eleva el pes oficial a 291 grams i, a la Unió Europea, fa passar el model de classe C0 a C1.

En categoria oberta europea, l’EASA manté límits com els 120 metres d’altura i la prohibició de sobrevolar concentracions. Un dron amb càmera que no sigui una joguina normalment obliga a registrar-ne l’operador encara que pesi menys de 250 grams. També cal consultar les zones geogràfiques locals.

Als Estats Units, els usos sota Part 107 exigeixen registrar cada dron. La FAA també estableix que, si el pilot utilitza ulleres FPV, un observador visual ha de mantenir l’aparell a la vista sense ajudes. El pes redueix algunes càrregues administratives en determinats usos recreatius, però no elimina les normes de l’espai aeri ni la responsabilitat del pilot.

4. Dues bateries, dues prioritats

A 03:48, el vídeo compara les dues opcions d’autonomia. Antigravity anuncia fins a 24 minuts amb la bateria estàndard i 39 amb la d’alta capacitat. Són xifres obtingudes en un entorn controlat, sense vent i fins que s’activa l’aterratge automàtic per bateria baixa; una sessió real haurà de reservar energia per tornar amb marge.

La decisió no és només entre quinze minuts més o menys. La bateria lleugera conserva els 249 grams i la classe C0 europea; la gran ofereix més temps, però porta el conjunt als 291 grams i a la classe C1. Per a una producció, cal valorar què pesa més: reduir canvis de bateria o mantenir el règim del model més lleuger.

Les lents es poden reemplaçar, una característica pràctica en un aparell exposat a aterratges i impactes. El vídeo també esmenta un pla de protecció comercial. Com que és contingut patrocinat i inclou una promoció de venda, les condicions, exclusions i cost de qualsevol cobertura s’han de comprovar directament abans de comprar.

5. Ulleres FPV i control amb el cap

La part més singular comença a 04:32. Amb les Vision Goggles, el pilot pot mirar al voltant movent el cap sense canviar la trajectòria. Les especificacions indiquen una pantalla micro-OLED de 2.560 × 2.560 píxels per ull, camp diagonal de 90 graus, ajust de diòptries, ventilació i vista exterior.

En lloc del comandament de dos joysticks més habitual, el Grip Motion Controller dirigeix el vol amb gestos d’una mà. A 05:38, Brownlee explica que una icona dins les ulleres assenyala sempre cap on avança l’aparell. Si el pilot mira cap a una altra direcció, una finestra dins la imatge conserva la referència frontal.

Segons la seva prova, una persona novell aprèn el control bàsic ràpidament, mentre que els modes més veloços demanen més pràctica. La sensació d’estar dins el vol és un avantatge lúdic, però també pot desorientar. Per això les funcions de seguretat i l’observador visual que pugui exigir la normativa són part de l’experiència, no un detall extern.

6. SkyPath i els límits que encara es veuen

SkyPath, mostrat a 07:21, permet enregistrar una ruta i reproduir-la automàticament. El creador primer marca el recorregut i després deixa que una persona sense experiència visqui el trajecte amb les ulleres. Recomana fer la primera prova assegut, una precaució raonable davant la sensació de moviment.

Les concessions apareixen a 07:57. La costura pot produir una franja borrosa a l’horitzó; portar ulleres grans en públic crida l’atenció; i Brownlee troba a faltar una cinta superior. També parla de futurs controls amb un anell i gestos, però no els havia provat.

A 09:09, insisteix que el vídeo no és una ressenya. Queden preguntes pròpies d’una anàlisi independent: resistència al vent real, qualitat de nit, fiabilitat de l’evitació d’obstacles, temps d’exportació dels arxius 360, reparabilitat, soroll, servei tècnic i comportament després de moltes bateries.

Conclusions

L’Antigravity A1 és interessant perquè desacobla dues decisions que normalment passen alhora: per on vola el dron i cap on mira la càmera. La captura 360, el reenquadrament posterior i la desaparició digital de l’aparell poden salvar preses irrepetibles i obrir angles difícils sense exigir que el pilot domini també el gimbal.

Les ulleres, el control gestual i SkyPath afegeixen una dimensió immersiva que explica l’entusiasme del vídeo. Alhora, no s’ha de confondre una presentació patrocinada amb una validació completa. L’autonomia oficial depèn de condicions ideals, la bateria gran canvia el pes i la classe europea, la costura encara es pot veure i el vol FPV està subjecte a normes específiques.

La proposta té més sentit per a creadors que valorin la flexibilitat d’editar després i per a usuaris que vulguin gaudir del vol en primera persona. Abans de comprar, convé comparar el flux de treball 360 amb el d’un dron convencional, comprovar la normativa del lloc d’ús i esperar proves independents de qualitat, seguretat i fiabilitat a llarg termini.

    the framing and post when you get home. And then just like the 360 cameras have that like invisible selfie stick feature, these sensors and lenses are actually the same as the Insta360 X5. So through stitching, it makes the drone itself and the propellers completely invisible in your final footage. And then they've got a bunch of other great features like Sky Genie that can automatically orbit a subject that you selecting your goggles. And my favorite deep track since I think really drones and car shoots go hand in hand, Basically, you can fly in a straight line, and then all you have to do is try and match the speed of the car as best you can, and deep track will pick up the car and frame your subject without having to do any key framing. And then since at the 360 camera, there's also some more creative ways to use the video you're capturing,

    that work better on social media platforms like these floating orb shots. Would you find a ton of use for this? No, probably not, but it's still a cool idea to see some weird perspectives like this. So as a tool for a video creator, it already feels like a game changer that you don't have to get the exact shot perfect in the moment. You can just focus on getting creative with the positioning. That is pretty sweet. The orb of recording 360 is 8k at 30 fps, the correct frame rate. And so you can't take like a 8k screenshot, but you can get pretty creative and have a good amount of flexibility

The A1 is 249 grams, which if you've been to drones long enough before you heard that number, and that's exactly where it has to be to be regulatory compliant almost everywhere. And it has upscalivow audience, it has navigation assistance, auto landing gear, payload detection, and auto return to home, which I've used quite a few times, because you might get a little overconfident in how far away you can fly. The lenses are replaceable, so if you do get an accident, that's much easier to fix than a whole gimbal. And there's also anti-gravity care, so it'll cover things like flyaways or water damage or anything else like that.

    Now, the weak spot for almost all drones in my opinion has been battery. You get up there, you try to frame out and get the perfect shot, and then 15 minutes later you're landing it because you didn't quite get it, but you're going to get it on the next battery. The A1 comes with a 24 minute battery standard, which is about part of the course, but that's on top of the fact that you don't feel as much pressure to nail the exact right camera shot in the air, because you're framing it after the fact. So the battery anxiety definitely feels like it's less. But if you're still worried it also has a 39-minute extended version. Oh, and there's 20 gigs of internal storage too. So the SD card slot is easily accessible, but if you ever forget a card, you're still covered. I am definitely in the camp that every camera should have internal storage. But anyway, back to the main point, it's just fun. This is the original reason why I was so into this drone, which is because the fun factor is so high. You could even honestly just go out and fly it around for fun, not even trying to get any specific shot. Just haven't fun with it.

    You get a feed straight from the A1 to these FPV goggles that you wear, and then it's not like a normal FPV drone where you're always only looking forward as you fly with the Omni-Link transmission. You can fly in one direction, but freely move your head around and look around wherever you want to experience everything around you. It's kind of like you're a bird flying through the park and looking around, or like a mini jet or something. It's just incredibly immersive. The goggles have a 90 degree field of view, which is the widest in any flying FPV goggles. 2560 by 2560 per eye, one tap defogging, and a past-through feature, just in case someone comes up to you while you're flying.

    But what's really neat, and I haven't seen this before, is it has this customizable exterior screen so that others can see what you're looking at on the outside of the goggles. So if you're with someone, they can kind of get a sense of what you're seeing while you're flying. That's like that you can use it as a status screen for firmware updates too. By the way, you've probably noticed I'm not using a typical two-stick controller. This is a joystick. And this is another one of those things that at first,

    I was a little skeptical of, because there's a reason everyone uses those two sticks. It's just the muscle memory is baked in already. I already know exactly how to get that smooth, sliding parallax shot we've all seen. But the joystick makes sense for this drone, because again, you don't have to do the camera moves as you're flying. You're just positioning the camera in space. So it feels closer to just flying a plane and getting into the spot you want, and then you're moving your head around

    freely to look around. So I'm in on this joystick. There's an icon on the screen that shows where the front of the drone is pointing. And then all you do is just press the trigger and you're flying in that direction. And if you look away from the flight path, you get this little picture in picture window, so you can still see what's in front of the drone. So it ends up feeling super intuitive. I give this to Andrew at the studio for a day. This is his first shot he took with the A1 in normal flight mode at like 10 in the morning. And so then here's the last shot he got by early afternoon the same day using sport mode and the FPV controls, which let you turn your wrist for tighter turns and it's way more dynamic. It's pretty fire. I really now think anyone who's never used anything like this can pick this up and learn

    the controls and be super confident like I was within like an hour. I was like, I have a screen shot here of my first time trying FPV mode ever and look how quick I tried some stuff. No problem, no worries. So what about someone who's not as technically savvy but still wants to have some fun with a drum like this. Then it has those extra features. So one called skypath. I think is really cool. So basically I fly a path that I think is really neat and record it. And then I give so and else the goggles they put the goggles on and the drum will fly the same path in real time and then they can look around with the goggles in 360 and experience it live, which is I think really fun. They don't need any experience to see that. And it's pretty trippy. Just floating around. I will say pro tip. The first time you have someone try this, have them do it sitting down, just because they're gonna look down and they're gonna see themselves hundreds of feet off the ground and just Just to be safe now look I know this is a sponsored video But I also asked them if I could throw in a couple small things.     And it's not perfect. So first off the stitching to hide the drone is impressive But to the train die, there is this ever so slight smudge on the horizon of your footage and that's basically where it's stitching together The two lenses and for the most part you don't really ever notice it But there is a chance that you can get in your shot if you're doing a lot of recording of things like right on the horizon line. So that's something to keep in mind. And the number two, if you're if you're if you're going to shoot in a public area Because you have the goggles on and the screen is lighting up just be ready to explain that to people because they can look kind of crazy I was told they're also in the process of working on some goggleless flights with a ring remote and gesture controls Which sounds pretty awesome. I haven't seen that in action yet But I appreciate that there's still trying to find more ways to let people get creative with this drone But speaking to these goggles, I do wish they had an extra strap like up at the top. It's kind of similar to any other like heavy thing. There's obviously displays up here.

    So if you have an extra strap at the top, it distributes the weight more evenly. It's more comfortable with let you fly for multiple batteries without getting uncomfortable. But other than that, yeah, I've had a really good time. Just messing with having fun with the Antigravity A1.
